The Exposition for National Reconciliation is a museum exhibition of the Regional Historical Museum – Sofia, located in the historic "Garnizonno strelishte" complex at 1 Bulgaria Blvd. The site combines an authentic historical environment with a museum exhibition dedicated to themes of memory, political violence, and the pursuit of reconciliation in Bulgarian society. The building was constructed in 1932 as a military shooting range. Between 1941 and 1944, death sentences were carried out there, with the poet Nikola Vaptsarov among the victims. After 1969, the site was transformed into a memorial and later adapted as a museum exhibition. The exhibition presents the history of the complex and emphasizes the need for dialogue, respect for victims, and overcoming divisions caused by political conflicts. Through symbols, documents, and museum materials, it recounts complex periods of Bulgarian history.
